Francesco Tremolada and Norbert Frenademetz skied the North Couloir of Sass Dlacia in the Dolomites. On 04/04/2013

It's not really a 1st ski ancestry, however most likely the 2nd of this stunning colouir which splits the North Face of Sass Dlacia and which simply came up into situation thanks to this excellent winter's abundant snowfalls. The record by Alta Badia Guides member Francesco Tremolada is published under, while more pictures can easily be viewed on his web page.

SASS DLACIA NORTH COULOIR by Francesco Tremolada

The North Couloir of Sass Dlacia cuts straight down the north face of this minor Alta Badia summit, known above all for its beautiful sports climbs on the west face. The mountain in itself isn't enormous, but the line of descent is fascinating and for those who love steep skiing it's a draw which is hard to ignore.

We monitored the snow conditions for various seasons through our binoculars, but a series of vertical drops resulted in the snow cover from being continuous. Until this season, one of those which we'll probably remember for a while and which will hopefully provide plenty of other great descents.

All of us ascended through the some other part, through the Lagazuoi cable connection vehicle as well as because of the perfect snowfall include and never excessive temps all of us skied the whole collection along with just 2 brief abseils (bolt abseil), without using our own skis away. A large because of Norbert Frenademetz, usually expecting a brand new journey.
