Marriott Rewards and United MileagePlus partnered to offer members a range of new benefits through Rewards Plus. It will provide Marriott Rewards Platinum Elite members with MileagePlus Premier Silver status. Conversely, Rewards Plus will provide United Global Services, Premier 1K, Premier Platinum and Premier Gold members with Marriott Rewards Gold Elite status. Status offerings are available through Jan. 31. In August, Marriott Rewards and United MileagePlus members will receive additional perks when transferring points into miles and will obtain additional miles for travel packages. MileagePlus Premier members will be able to convert their miles into Marriott Rewards points for the first time ever.
